Parx Wins Over $10M from Tables

Tables generate more than $200K in November for Bensalem and Bucks County.

 

The play of table games during November at Pennsylvania casinos generated tax revenue of more than $8.7 million, according to figures posted by the Gaming Control Board.

With an average of 946 tables in operation on a daily basis during November, gross revenue from play of all table games was $54,030,362 which was more than $15.5 million higher than November 2010 when revenue totaled $38,520,402 with an average 745 tables operating on a daily basis.

led the state with $10.6 million in table game revenue and $1.8 million in taxes – $1.6 million to the state and $212,952 to Bensalem and Bucks County.

Pennsylvania taxes gross table game revenue at 16 percent (14 percent to the Commonwealth’s General Fund and 2 percent to local share fund) which resulted in $8.7 million of tax revenue.
