The Bensalem Township Council will meet tonight for its annual reorganization meeting.
During the meeting, council members will elect their president, vice president, secretary and assistant secretary for 2013. Additionally, the council will appoint township officials for the year, including a court stenographer, municipal clerk, solicitor, engineer, an accounting firm and various department heads.
The council will also give advice and consent on many mayoral appointments for advisory boards and committees. The year’s council meeting dates will also be set. View the entire agenda on the township's website.
The meeting will take place at the Municipal Building, located at 2400 Byberry Rd., in Bensalem.
