Traffic Advisory: One Lane in Turnpike Construction Area

Crews will establish a single-lane pattern, closing the right lane during bridge deck repairs between Bensalem and Delaware Valley exits.

 

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound on the PA Turnpike between the Bensalem and Delaware Valley interchanges to be prepared for a single-lane traffic pattern to be in effect tonight, Tuesday (July 24) between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.

 At 7 p.m. construction crews will establish a single-lane pattern, closing the right lane during bridge deck repairs between milepost 354-358, until the pattern is lifted by 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

 Motorists traveling between Bensalem and the Delaware River Bridge toll plaza should stay alert for slow moving construction vehicles or stopped traffic and obey the posted speed limits through the pattern.

All work is weather permitting and the contractors schedule is subject to change.
