Weather Service Extends Flood Watch

Neshaminy Creeek could be susceptible.

At 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service in Mount Holly continued the flood watch in Bucks County and surrounding areas from Monday afternoon through late Monday night.

During the watch period, rain will fall in two batches — the first one will fall late tonight into early Monday morning, the second batch will fall later Monday into Monday evening.

Flooding is not expected along the Delaware River, but is more probable along smaller streams such as the Neshaminy Creek. Flooding is also more probable across low-lying areas and in areas of poor drainage, especially if thunderstorms develop.
