Belmont Students' Food Collection Earns Extra Gym Activity

Belmont Hills Elementary School sixth-graders collected the most food items for the Bensalem Lions Club Holiday Food Drive.

Belmont Hills Elementary School students collected 638 food items for the Bensalem Lions Club Holiday Food Drive. The student council advertised the drive by making posters and sorting and counting the food.

The staff added a “mystery prize” incentive for the grade level that brought in the most items. The sixth-graders will receive an extra gym activity in January. The third-graders placed second, collecting only six items less than the first-place winner.
