The Bensalem High School football team lost 14-12 Friday night in a non-league game against visiting Archbishop Ryan.
According to a story on PhillyBurbs.com, the Owls offense gained 340 yards and the defense gave up only 136 yards. But the team made some mistakes that cost them the game.
“I thought that we could win the game, but we made too many mistakes,” Owls coach Kevin Kelly told PhillyBurbs. “I just told the kids that we didn’t prepare well during the week, and we didn’t do enough to deserve to win.”
