Literacy Opens Minds Conference, Holy Family University

Holy Family University will hold “Literacy Opens Minds”, a conference for the community that focuses on ways to improve reading skills and comprehension in children and young adults.

Conference attendees will choose from among 16 workshops on topics such as technology and literacy, adolescent literacy strategies, and the writing process.

Workshops are presented by educators and administrators from the following school districts: Central Bucks, Cinnaminson, Council Rock, Pennsbury, Philadelphia, and Upper Dublin.

The event is on Saturday, October 13 from 8:30 am to 1 pm at 9801 Frankford Avenue, in the Education and Technology building.

Registration is $15 if received by October 12, or $20 at the door.
