Oxford Communications and Visit Bucks County are pleased to announce the third Social Media Breakfast Greater Philly (#SMBPhilly). This time, we’ll be discussing how businesses in all industries, but especially in the tourism, hospitality and retail industries, can successfully use Pinterest. We’re pleased and excited to be hosting this event and we’re looking forward to seeing lots of new faces!

What’s Happening?

Welcome: Paul Bencivengo, Marketing and Communications Director at Visit Bucks County, will give a brief introduction on the tourism office’s social media campaigns and recent achievements.

Speaker/Moderator: Christopher Stemborowski, Oxford Communications – will speak with attendees about the latest craze in social networking, Pinterest. Details will be provided on how to create a compelling Pinterest profile as well as addressing why Pinterest has become so relevant overnight. A panel of Pinterest experts who are using the platform daily to transform how their organizations reach consumers will be moderated during the event as well.

Christopher works at Oxford Communications in Lambertville, N.J. leading its cutting-edge social media offering for regional, national and global clients. 

Panelist: Apu Gupta, CEO & Co-Founder of Curalate - Curalate is the most comprehensive marketing platform for socially curated sites, starting with Pinterest and provides hundreds of recognized brands deep insights into their brand engagement on visual sites such as Pinterest. These insights are enabling brands to find and engage with brand advocates, determine what products matter most to fans, and form more meaningful relationships with consumers.

Panelist: Jessica Lawlor, Visit Bucks County – is the marketing and communications coordinator at Visit Bucks County, the official tourism promotion agency for Bucks County, Pa. Jessica is responsible for content creation, e-communications and event planning, and assisting with public relations efforts, social media, advertising and marketing initiatives.

Panelist: Natalie Sutton, Adventure Aquarium – serves as the Communications Coordinator for Adventure Aquarium, overseeing the Aquarium’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube among others) and interactive marketing and communication efforts, email marketing website content management, and other digital efforts meant to enhance the visitor experience.

Panelist: Caroline Bean, GPTMC – is the director of social media at the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC). She joined GPTMC in 2003 and quickly rose from public relations coordinator to her current position, focusing on travel and lifestyle media relations and social media initiatives.
