The students have started an online fundraising page to raise money for the trip.

“We would be the first Cavalcade Band to march in the Rose Bowl Parade, blazing the way for future bands.  It is a life experience that shouldn't be missed,” the students write in their fundraising page.

“The four of us represent with pride Bensalem School District's music program.  It is an honor to be a part of a band that represents not only our school and town, but our country throughout the world. If you choose to sponsor us, you would be helping to expand our musical horizons, opening up new doors of learning.  You would also relieve some of the burden our parents carry as a result of us receiving this honor.  Anything that you can do would be greatly appreciated and used to change our worlds forever," the fundraising page reads.
