Local Student Makes Dean's List at Catholic U.

Katelyn Leon was named for academic excellence.

Katelyn Leon of Bensalem, a member of the class of 2010 from Villa Joseph Marie High School, has been named to the spring 2012 Dean's List with distinction at The Catholic University of America (CUA), according to a release.

In order to qualify for the Dean's List with distinction at CUA, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.75 with a minimum of 15 credits. Soon to be a Junior at CUA  this is Katelyn’s third consecutive Dean’s List Achievement.

The Catholic University of America, founded in 1887 by the U.S. Catholic bishops with the support of Pope Leo XIII, is the National University of the Catholic Church and the only Catholic University with a Papal Charter in the United States.
