Local Students Make Dean’s List

Seven students from Bensalem and Croydon honored.

Lindsay Ward, of Bensalem, has been named to the Dean's List at The University of Scranton, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2011 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List. Ward is a junior marketing major in Scranton's Kania School of Management.

Wilkes University Provost Reynold Verret announces the Dean's List for the Fall 2011 Semester. To be named to the Dean's List, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 GPA and carry at least 12 credits. The university extends its congratulations to the following students:
Tara Bushek, of Bensalem
Ashley Robold, of Bensalem
Amber Konopka, of Croydon

Dr. Bashar Hanna, Delaware Valley College's Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty, announced the following students have been honored for academic achievement by being named to the Fall 2011 Dean's List. Congratulations to:
Kristina Aquilone, of Bensalem
Erica Traynor, of Bensalem

Lock Haven University has released the names of students who achieved Dean's List recognition for the Fall 2011 semester. To qualify, the student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 in 12 hours of letter grades. Deans praised the students' commitment to academic achievement and noted the discipline and hard work required to qualify for the Dean's List. Named to the Fall 2011 Dean's List is Freshman Melissa E. Bender, of Croydon, studying Health Sciences/Pre-Physician Assistant.
