Many Local Graduates Earn Degrees from Holy Family
Graduation from the Northeast Philadelphia school was on May 19 at the Kimmel Center.
conferred 810 degrees during undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies held May 19 in Verizon Hall of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.
According to a release, the following local residents are among those who completed academic studies at the University this year:

- Amy Anne Apice a resident of Bensalem majored in nursing, and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Cum Laude

During the ceremonies four honorary degree recipients addressed graduates: Robb Armstrong, creator of the nationally syndicated comic strip "JumpStart"; Anne Gallagher, an educator, volunteer, and former University trustee; Luz Duque-Hammershaimb, MD, a retired clinical research executive for MedImmune Inc. and former University trustee; and George Nise, a retired chief executive of Beneficial Savings Bank of Philadelphia and former University trustee.
