Middle School Gets New Principal

Thomas Evert named principal at Snyder Middle School by school board.

 

The approved the appointment of Thomas Evert to the position of Principal at at its meeting Wednesday evening. 

According to a release, Evert began his career in the field of education in 1992.  During his tenure in the profession, he has enjoyed varied experiences while providing students with the best educational opportunities available to them.

“I possess an uncompromising view that all students can learn if immersed into a positive environment and atmosphere that welcomes exploratory programs and enhances self-confidence,” said Evert. “It is my belief and mission as an instructional leader to make school enjoyable and exciting so that students look forward to attending school every day, wanting to learn.”

Evert served as assistant principal of Snyder Middle School.  Previously, he served as assistant principal at Bensalem High School and Robert K. Shafer Middle School.

The release stated that Evert earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at Trenton State College/The College of New Jersey. He also possesses a Master’s Degree in Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from Arcadia University. Currently, he has completed all the coursework in the Doctor of Education program at Immaculata University and will begin taking the comprehensive exams this fall.
