The Bensalem Township School Board will meet tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 27, for its regularly scheduled meeting.
Though not on the agenda, a call out to voice opinions "regarding the corruption costing taxpayers $1.5 Million and the inevitable tax increase to rebuild the high school," has been made in a Bensalem Patch announcement.
"The taxpayers need to be heard," Cindy Kamm posted.
Kamm is referring to the arrest of the former school district business administrator and 19 others in connection with a massive conspiracy investigation involving thefts from the district.
School Board members will continue discussion of unfinished business from Jan. 23 meeting, including the possibility of opening school prior to Labor Day. The board tabled the motion to communicate the intent of opening before Labor Day until after an Instructional Affairs Committee Meeting.
The board will also discuss recommending building rentals for the Bensalem Lions Club Flea Market, the upcoming Just for the Kids Telethon, St. Ephrem’s CYO and 5K Run to Benefit the Keystone Wounded Warriors.
The meeting will be held at the Dorothy D. Call Administrative Center located at 3000 Donallen Dr. at 7:30 p.m.
