The Monday reorganized, with three new members, and set its budget schedule for the 2012-2013 school year.
Sworn into office by were incumbents Heather Nicholas and Wayne Lewis and new members Matt Grodsky, Kevin McKay and Pam Strange. The five Republicans were elected Nov. 7, defeating Democrat newcomers Nora Jordan, Lola Oguntade and Toni Simmons.
Nicholas – a website designer starting her second four-year term – also was reappointed unanimously as board president while Kim Rivera got the unequivocal nod for the vice president's spot.

Before his election last month, Lewis, an accountant, had filled a vacated seat about a year ago after serving a full term in the 2000s.
Grodsky works as a marketing and information technology director for a Bucks County plumbing and heating/ventilation/air conditioning firm and is the coordinator of the Tea Party group 912 Patriots of Lower Bucks.

McKay is a graduate of Temple University Law School who works as an aeronautics systems engineer for Boeing. Strange is a Bucks County probate clerk.
The board's first public budget work session was scheduled for Jan. 11 while final budget adoption was slated for June 13.
In between, the board intends to adopt a preliminary budget Jan. 25; hold another work session Feb. 22; adopt a proposed budget May 9; and hold a question-and-answer session May 23.
