School District Names New Business Administrator

On June 13, the approved the appointment of Kenneth Medina to the position of Director of Business Operations effective July 1. He replaces Jack A. Myers who is retiring on June 30.

Medina, a registered Pa. School Business Administrator, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State University and his MBA from Lebanon Valley College. He is currently a Doctoral candidate in Public Administration, Public Policy, Management and Administration at Penn State University.   

Most recently, Medina held the position of Director of Business and Finance at the School District of the City of York in York, Pa.  Previously, he served as Business Manager at Millersburg Area School District and Assistant Business Manager at Manheim Central School District.

According to a release, Medina is looking forward to returning to his roots in Suburban Philadelphia.
