Parx Casino is helping Word Poker Tour (WPT) kick off its 11th season of televised, high-stakes tournament poker in style, hosting the inaugural WPT Parx Open Poker Classic (POPC) from the extraordinary Parx Poker room at the #1 casino in Pennsylvania.

Running from August 10 – 15, the televised Main Event has a $3,500 buy in and offers  re-entry on Day 1B. As the first WPT televised event ever held in Pennsylvania – and the season’s first chance for US players to etch their name on the prestigious Champion’s Cup in Season XI - the POPC is expected to draw the best-known names in poker.
