New Business to Offer In-Home Swim Lessons

Do you have a pool? Then you won't need to go anywhere for swim lessons this summer.

With just a few more weeks left to the school year, you might be already daydreaming of afternoons lounging by the pool with your kids happily splashing in the background.

But perhaps those playful children need to strengthen their swimming skills? Don’t worry, your lazy day by the pool doesn’t need to be interrupted.

Council Rock North graduate David Feinman recently launched Bucks County Home Swimming – a business that brings the swimming lessons to you.

“We provide in-home swim lessons for children in the Bucks County area,” Feinman said, adding that concept is already popular on the West Coast.

Feinman said the business, which is in its first year of operation, follows a Red Cross curriculum that provides swimmers with individualized programs. Feinman said he recognizes that “different students learn in different ways.”

A team of certified swim instructors who are also lifeguards will teach the lessons, Feinman said. He added lessons can be given throughout Bucks County.

“We thought it would cater to parents,” Feinman said, adding the parents get a report after each lesson.

Lessons can be provided to people of all ages – from children to adults. Parents can also organize a group lesson to include several children, Feinman said.
