Bingo’s Foundation to Hold Annual Chinese Auction

Attention cat lovers. Foundation seeks donations for auction baskets.

Bingo’s Foundation, a cat shelter and adoption organization serving the Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia region, is planning its seventh annual Chinese Auction event for Saturday, March 24.

It will be held at the Bucks County Technical High School, 610 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills. Doors open at 5 p.m. and drawings from 7-10 p.m.

“This event has been one of our most successful fundraisers and most enjoyable family event,” said Eleanor Shaknitz of Bingo’s Auction Committee.

Prepaid admission is $7. It’s $10 at the door. Admission price includes unlimited coffee or tea.

You can also order your prepaid raffle sheets in advance on the Bingo’s Foundation website. Your raffle package will be held at the door along with your admission.

Visitors can help the Emmett Food Foundation feed homeless cats by donating a can of food upon arrival.

In advance of this event, the Bingo Foundation is accepting donations for gift baskets.

“Donating items, gift cards  or professional services would be greatly appreciated,” Shaknitz said. “Donations must be NEW/UNUSED items in their original packaging.  These can be groups of items or single items (which we use to create gift baskets).  Please make sure you put your name on items donated.”

All donations must be received by March 1. 

“While we appreciate all donations, it is imperative that we receive them by the date mentioned above so that we can properly thank all donors and prepare all the items for the event,”Shaknitz said.
