On MLK Day, Donate Vital Items for Disadvantaged Children

In honor of Martin Luther King Day of Service on Monday residents can drop off vitally-needed everyday essential items for disadvantaged children in Bensalem Township.

Cradles to Crayons, which collects and distributes new and nearly new children's items to disadvantaged children in the region, is celebrating the 19th annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service with collection points around the region.

On Monday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. you can drop off vitally-needed everyday essential items for disadvantaged children, up to age 12, in all five counties in the greater Philadelphia region, including at the Trevose Fire Co., 4900 Street Road in Bensalem Township.

What's needed:
New and nearly new infants’ and children’s clothing, warm coats, hats, shoes, boots, gloves, newborn baby items, baby safety equipment, toys, books and school supplies.
