YWCA to Hold Comedy Night Fundraiser

Proceeds to benefit under-served residents of Bucks County.

YWCA Bucks County will hold its second “Live Comedy Night” fundraiser of the year on Friday, Nov. 4, from 7 p.m. to midnight, at Twining Hall, at the Trevose Fire Company, 4900 E. Street Road.

The evening features nationally-acclaimed headliner Mike Eagan, a long-time audience favorite at America’s premier comedy nightclubs including Catch A Rising Star, Dangerfield’s and the Comic Strip in New York City as well as at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Eagan also performs regularly in Las Vegas and Atlantic City and has been a morning show host on a number of popular radio stations in the New York metropolitan area.

Also performing will be comedy-magician Norm Klar, an experienced performer and considered one of the most unique and entertaining acts along the East Coast.  Klar tries real hard with his magic tricks but, in his own words, he “just can’t seem to get it right.”

In addition to the show, there will be a buffet dinner, desserts, complimentary beverages, cash bar (I.D. required), a “50-50” drawing as well as music and post-show dancing hosted by Bucks County’s Rich Behrmann Mobile DJ.

Tickets are $35.00 per person for the full evening and can be purchased online at www.ywcabucks.org or by calling 215-953-7793, ext. 121.  Early reservations are recommended because the initial show in April was a sellout.
