Fall Festival, Bag Bingo, Fire Prevention

See what's happening this weekend in Bensalem and nearby.

The calendar may say Fall, but with temps in the low 80s this weekend, it's easy to mistake the season for Summer. Either way, it's great weather to get out and enjoy some fun events. 

Here are some options:

FALL FESTIVAL 

Where/when: Bensalem Municipal Complex and TD Bank amphitheater, 2400 Byberry Road, Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. 
Why go: Spectators can enjoy a full day of music, food, games, rides, fireworks and more.
Cost: Free

FIRE DEPARTMENT OPEN HOUSE

Where/when: Trevose Fire Department, 4900 Street Road, Trevose, Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. 
Why go: Kids can enjoy fire truck rides, a moon bounce, food and drinks, Sparky the Fire Dog and more. 

DESIGNER BAG BINGO

Where/when: St. Thomas Aquinas Hall, 601 Bristol Pike in Croydon, Saturday beginning at 6:15 p.m. 
Why go: Play for your chance to win Coach, Vera Bradley and more. 
Cost: $30 in advance or $35 at the door.

PAWS 4 LIFE WALK

Where/when: Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Way, Warminster, Saturday at 9:15 a.m. 
Why go: The 15th annual dog walk offers a full day of canine-inspired fun, including contests, music, food, raffles and more. Proceeds benefit Gilda's Club Delaware Valley.

'LEADING LADIES'

Where/when: 
Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Ave., Hatboro, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m. 
Why go: Watch the Village Players' performance of "Leading Ladies," by playwright Ken Ludwig.
Cost: $15
