HOLIDAY TREEFEST

Where/when: Bucks County Visitor Center, 3207 Street Road in Bensalem, seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Jan. 7 (with the exception of New Year's Day)

LIVE MUSIC
Where/when: Parx Casino, 2999 Street Road, Bensalem, Friday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (Jumper); Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Undercover)

HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW
Where/when: 
Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, every night through Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Why go: See countless light displays and animated holiday scenes in this drive through the farm.

GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY MEETING, PRESENTATION
Where/when: 
David Library of the American Revolution, 1201 River Road, Washington Crossing, Saturday at 10 a.m. 
Why go: Learn how past laws treated widows and orphans, and what the records may tell us about them. 
Cost: $5 members/$10

GINGERBREAD HOUSE COMPETITION AND DISPLAY
Where/when: Peddler's Village, routes 202 and 263 in Lahaska, through Saturday. 
Why go: See gingerbread houses of all kinds in the Peddler's Village gazebo.
