@inerested by stander, I have zero problem with living across from Lehigh's Goodman campus. They…Read More take beautiful care of their properties. It is the lowlifes who take advantage of the free space, visits to camp, attendance at soccer matches that ruin it. I am not saying everyone, I am saying lowlifes, you know who you are. @ Carol unfortunatly you don't know what you are talking about. We have had visitors to Eagles camp park in our cul de sac every year of camp. Maybe they don't want to be stuck in the traffic leaving camp, maybe they don't want to pay to park, I don't know why they do it. I do know that one year when they had a special day for kids I had nine people park on my driveway at my invitaition. They all were coming into the cul de sac because traffic was so backed up they were already missing some of what was happening for their kids. There was no where left to park in our cul de sac. Please don't tell me you know about these things. I am here every day, I am sure you are not. Sorry to dissapiont you, but our neighborhood is not a gated community. We are normal people with normal homes. I was born and raised in a city and would go back in a heart beat if I could convince my husband, I like living in a concrete jungle, so no, I have no problem with "city" people. I do have a problem with lowlifes who don't care about the carbon footprint they leave behind. Hate to break your heart, but I have never gone to musikfest so why don't you shut up about it.

I must say that Mary Anne Looby made this thread an interesting read. No one incites bitter…Read More responses than she does. She should have written this story because I already forgotten who the author was.

You either win or you are a loser in sports. What would we all do to be a winner on such a grand…Read More scale? I think the demons he has inside his head have to be immense and will never leave him. He's receiving his public shaming - whether his apology is sincere on not - he will be classed as a loser by many. That puts him inside a figurative cage. I never believed he was clean - but I choose to admire him anyway. Not that I do not believe in honesty of the heart; I teach it to my children with fervor. However, there are parts of him that are so heroic that I can't deny that I am in awe of those parts. The mental determination to work so hard to recover from an almost death sentence is at the top of my list.

thanks to all who came out to support this wonderful charity! Hockey Kids vs. Cancer was originated…Read More by Matt Brason, 14 last year for an 8th grade project and has flourished into a wonderful charity. Each event, this being the 2nd, gets bigger and better and we are so proud and happy to have raised money for cancer research. donations can still be made if you missed this event!

I gotta do a better job, week in and week out.Jimmy Johnson was the backbone of the eagles.when he…Read More passed so did the eagles. The win record belongs to Johnson not ( we gotta do abetter job ) Reid.
Kansas won't make the playoffs in the next three years.

My prediction: That candy-apple-red Chiefs apparel is going to be less than flattering on Andy.

How about if we give Andy Reid a chance? he is no longer in Philly...why would you attack him? I…Read More wish he and his family a wonderful new adventure and all the best.

Well the NCAA has done nothing to the likes of Texas football players for there part in breaking…Read More NCAA rules as athletes,in drugs problems, possilble sexaul abuse or does it not matter if the abused was a women or child, its still abuse. how about North Carolina, the list goes on with athletes doing wrong and nothing seems to be done about it. Its very simple, the NCAA has been looking for a big fish to fry and to send a message. Its a shame it was Penn State not a bigger fish could be found. So they take a program, that has stood for years on its athletes academic record more then any university in the nation and rip it apart. For what purpose.

Maybe JL can take this team to LA and let the city start over.

They always blame the coach. It's a shame they can't fire the whole team and start all over. These…Read More players make a lot of money. What would happen if you did your job the way they played this year?

There is no question that Andy did not address his kid's problems after he went to court on behalf…Read More of both sons. Who did he expect to take over his family's obligations? He is as much to blame as his deceased son and if he doesn't get on the stick, his other son may very well end up the same way. I do not believe Andy wanted anything like this to happen, but it is up to him to do whatever it takes to prevent it. He did not meet those obligations. Shame on him. I wouldn't be able to work several days after my son's death. I can't speak about his work ethics, but he let his family down BIG TME and let me down as a fellow human being. Now, of course this is just my opinion, but I've heard this from many, many people.

Solid article. I think the best point was that the Eagles do seem to have greater expectations than…Read More the Phillies or Flyers, even if the talent on the teams is similar as it is now. But the Eagles really underperformed this season given all the talent, and it's hard to really explain the press conferences of Reid. Where's his passion, when the city has so much itself towards its teams, especially the Birds? But yeah, the O-line should also probably take some of the heat, even if they are all backups.

Michael Vick is a great athlete but a bad quarterback. The guy cannot read a defense to save his…Read More life. If he didnt have such a strong arm or happy feet he would have been in the disgard pile long ago. I dont have the stats in front of me but I believe Michael Vick has the most turnovers of any NFL QB in the last 5 years .

Andy Reid deserves his Kudo's for bringing winning Football to Philadelphia. I believe the decline…Read More began when Andy was handed the GM"s job while still handling his coachs responsibilities. Lets face it ..Many of us have seen Corporate America do the same by trying to get blood from a stone...DOESN'T WORK.
Make no mistake...Jeff Lurie rewarded Andy with blind loyalty because Andy helped Lurie become a very rich man. We as fans too often forget that football is a business first.

I'm wondering why Upper Makefield isn't turned on, when most of Newtown IS. I'm thinking it's…Read More because there's less people in UM in which case, okay, that makes sense. BUT, we don't have public water out here so it makes a power failure tough.
PECO told us Oct 31st, 11pm. Then November 1st, 10pm. NOW, it's November 3rd, 10pm.
I work in Lawrenceville, NJ, and they were back up yesterday. I wonder why Upper Make can't get power??

Fat Andys' perfect win record after a bye week ends this Sunday. Bet the farm on

Patty.....people can point the finger & say he or she is an addict or a drunk, that's easy but…Read More society has no clue on the process of recovery. That's the big problem. The family & friends become enablers, which just keeps the addict/drunk to continue on to their slow death.
