Jan. 3: Sing Karaoke at Curran's

1. It's free to sing karaoke at Curran's Irish Inn starting at 8 p.m.  2. Enjoy country line dancing at Big Heads at 7 p.m. It's free. 3. It's not too late to visit the 7th Annual Bucks County Holiday Tree Fest at the Visitor's Center. It's open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 4. January is National Hot Tea Month. About.com has 31 suggestions to celebrate the month, such as tips on how to brew better tea, how to properly store tea, options of flavors to try and more. What's your favorite tea? 5. Weather: Today's going to be mostly sunny with a high near 35 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The evening will be partly cloudy with a low around 24 degrees.

Dec. 27: See the Lights at Shady Brook

Here are five things to know today.

1. Christmas and Hannukah may be over, but the Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm continues for a few days more. 2. Here's a list of area businesses that are hiring. 3. An electronics recycling event will be held at all Council Rock schools and the Chancellor Center from Jan. 7 through March 8. The event is sponsored by Council Rock Education Foundation and The CR Green Team. 4. There's a Gingerbread Treasure Hunt at the Bensalem Library today.  5. Weather: It's going to be rainy again tomorrow, mainly before 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high will be near 42 degrees and drop to a low around 26 degrees in the evening.
