Get Weapons off Street at Anonymous Gun Buyback
Bensalem Township will hold an anonymous gun buyback event on Wednesday and Saturday.
Bensalem Township will buy back unwanted and unused guns at the Municipal Building two days this week. The township's anonymous gun buyback program will take place on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. "Now we're trying to encourage people to turn in their weapons they might not want and we're gonna give them money for them," Director of Public Safety Fred Harran said during an interview with the Mayor. The gun buyback event is a voluntary way for people to surrender their firearms with no questions asked, with the goal of reducing gun violence. Sgt.
