State Police Inspections Focus on Motor Coaches

Police said 26 Vehicles, 16 Drivers were placed out of service at popular travel destinations.

A seven-day effort aimed at inspecting motor coaches at popular travel destinations in Pennsylvania resulted in 26 vehicles and 16 drivers being placed out of service, State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan recently announced. Between May 15 and 21, Noonan said 369 motor coaches were inspected at casinos, amusement parks and other popular locations across the state. According to a release, Troop M, which serves Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton counties, conducted 40 inspections; placed eight vehicles and four drivers out of service.
