Uno’s Celebrates Celiac Awareness Day

The restaurant offers an extensive gluten-free menu.

Uno’s, the casual dining restaurant chain with a store at the Neshaminy Mall, reminded customers yesterday, National Celiac Disease Awareness Day, that they offer a very extensive gluten-free menu. According to a release, Uno’s began offering gluten-free menu items in 2006 to help alleviate the stress of eating out for those with celiac disease. Their menu now consists of 40 gluten-free items including entrees, sides, desserts and beverages. Gluten-free items include steamed or roasted seasonal veggies, red bliss mashed potatoes, chili, Cuban black bean and lentil soups, New York strip or top sirloin steaks, lemon basil salmon, chicken tikka masala, salads, the Uno burger and pizzas made with a thin gluten-free crust.
