15 percent of proceeds will benefit the family of a local child diagnosed with stage III Wilms' tumor.

In order to help 9-month-old Madeline Victoria Smith and her family, the Chick-fil-A in Trevose is holding a Spirit Night June 8. According to Chick-fil-A marketing director Tanya Ropars, Maddie was diagnosed with a stage III Wilms' tumor, which is a rare, fast growing kidney cancer that typically occurs in children.  "During these trying economic times her family needs your help in caring for Maddie as well as her big sister, Josie," Ropars said in an e-mail. From 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Chick-fil-A will give 15 percent of all sales brought in for Maddie. If you do stop in to order food to help the family, make sure you mention Maddie's name.
