Between Nov. 21-24, Trevose troopers responded to the following incidents: On Nov. 21 at 4:11 p.m., state police responded to an accident at Pine Street near Summit Avenue in Langhorne. Police said traffic was stopped when a three-vehicle chain reaction accident occurred. Three people were injured and transported to St. Mary Medical Center by Penndel EMS. Trevose troopers responded to the following accidents: On Nov. 11 at 1:29 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on the ramp from Route 1 southbound to I-95 southbound in Middletown Township. According to police, a 63-year-old Langhorne woman was traveling south on S. Pine Street when it crossed the intersection with S. Bellevue Avenue and impacted a tree on the northwest corner where it came to rest. The woman sustained injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center by Penndel-Middletown. Trevose troopers responded to two Woodhaven Road crashes and a recovered stolen vehicle in Bristol.

Between Oct. 15-16, Trevose troopers responded to the following incidents: On Oct. 15 at 7:24 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle crash at the Woodhaven Road onramp to I-95 northbound. The driver, a 27-year-old Bensalem man, was traveling too fast for roadway conditions, lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. Area Troopers Report Holiday Traffic Incidents

Troop M, which patrols Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton counties, reported 44 crashes, 963 citations and 31 DUI arrests.

  The regional Pennsylvania State Police Troop, which covers Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties and includes the station in Trevose, issued a recap of travel incidents that occurred during the Independence Day holiday travel period, Wednesday, July 4 through Sunday, July 8 . Capt. William Teper Jr., commander Troop M, said in a release that during the holiday period area troopers investigated 44 crashes (none fatal) resulting in nine injuries. Five of the crashes were alcohol related. Troopers issued 963 citations (over half for speeding) and 31 motorists were arrested for DUI. Regarding seat belts, 108 warnings and 54 citations were issued. There were 16 citations issued for child passenger seat violations.

Troopers Report Crashes, Theft, Counterfeit Money

The following information was provided by the Pa. State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between March 27 and April 4, Trevose troopers responded to the following incidents: On March 27 at 8:33 a.m., state police responded to a hit-and-run accident on I-95 northbound at milepost 33.7 in Bensalem. Police said a silver Honda Civic driven by a Hispanic male changed lanes and struck another vehicle fleeing northbound on I-95. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information should contact state police at 215-942-3900. Trooper Brandon Horlacher investigated the incident. On March 28 around 5:30 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said a 60-year-old female from Cranbury, NJ, dropped her wallet and another patron took possession of it. The wallet contained a sizeable amount of currency and …

Troopers Investigate Three Crashes on I-95

Accidents included DUI, hit-and-run and icy road.

Between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, troopers from the Trevose station investigated the following accidents: On Oct. 30 at 2:40 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound at milepost 38.4 in Bensalem. Police said the driver, Kareema Lawson, 37, of Bristol, lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions on the Neshaminy Creek Bridge. The vehicle spun out and hit the guide rail. Lawson was not injured. Trooper Kevin Lee investigated the incident. On Oct. 31 at 6:34 p.m., state police responded to a hit-and-run accident on I-95 southbound at milepost 37.1 in Bensalem. Two Recent Crashes Caused by Deer

Incidents occurred in Newtown and Middletown Township.

State police said these two recent accidents involved vehicles striking deer. On Oct. 3 at 1:25 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on I-95 southbound at Exit 50.7 in Lower Makefield. Police said the vehicle struck a deer and sustained disabling damage to the left front and required towing from the scene. The driver, a 31-year-old female from Newtown, was not injured. Trooper Thomas Geerlof investigated the incident. On Oct. 5 at 10:23 p.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound at the Exit 46B off ramp. State Police: Seven Die Statewide in Holiday Weekend Crashes

Troopers make 358 DUI arrests; issue 7,007 speeding citations.

Seven people were killed and 303 others were injured in crashes investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police during the four-day Fourth of July holiday travel period, Commissioner Frank Noonan said. State police investigated a total of 723 crashes during the travel period that covered Friday, July 1, through Monday, July 4, Noonan said. Four of those killed were not wearing seat belts and 74 of the crashes were alcohol- related, including four of the fatal crashes. Noonan said troopers arrested 358 motorists for driving under the influence; issued 7,007 speeding citations; cited 519 individuals for not wearing seat belts; and issued 103 citations to motorists for not securing children in child safety seats.
