State Police Investigate Theft, Harassment, Counterfeit Money

State police investigate incidents at Parx Casino and SEPTA's Cornwells Heights Park & Ride.

  The following information was provided by Pennsylvania State Police at the Trevose station and at Parx Casino. Where an arrest is listed, it does not indicate a conviction. Trevose troopers are investigated the theft of a pickup truck tailgate from SEPTA’s Corwells Heights Park & Ride station. Police said the incident occurred on Sept. 24 between 6:25 a.m. and 4:25 p.m. Anyone with information should contact state police at 215-942-3900. State police stationed at Parx Casino reported that a counterfeit $10 was discovered on Sept. 26 at 8:35 p.m. when a 61-year-old Bensalem woman attempted to exchange the bill at the casino cashier. State Police Charge Two with Harassment

An argument in Langhorne leads to harassment citations for two individuals.

  The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction. On Sunday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m., state police responded to the 100 block of E. Maple Avenue, Langhorne. Police said a 30-year-old man from Langhorne and a 28-year-old woman from Newtown had a verbal argument at the man’s residence in which they harassed each other. Both were issued citations for harassment. Trooper Jeffrey Hand investigated the incident.

Man Brandishes Knife During Altercation

State police charged a Hulmeville man with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

  The following arrest information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction. State police are investigating an assault in Hulmeville Borough. On July 24 at 1:40 p.m., Trevose troopers responded to an altercation on Main Street in Hulmeville. Police said Sage Werbock, of Hulmeville, brandished a knife threatening a Holland man during the altercation. Werbock was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was processed and released. Criminal charges will be filed, police said. Trooper Joseph Krut investigated the incident.

Police Make Seven Wednesday Arrests

Charges included retail theft, harassment, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.

  The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction. On Wednesday, July 11, Bensalem police made the following arrests: At 8:11 a.m., Arthur Lee McKenzie, III, 36, of the 1000 block of Beaver Street, Bristol, was arrested in the 2900 block of Lincoln Highway, Trevose and charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license. He was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail. At 12:27 p.m., Rita Cipolloni, 65, of the 2300 block of Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, was arrested in the 2300 block Street Road and charged with retail theft. She will receive a summons. State Police Report DUI Arrests, Harassment Incident

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police at Trevose. It does not imply conviction.

  Between July 3-4, Trevose troopers investigated the following incidents: On July 3 at 1:39 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 southbound at milepost 37.7 in Bensalem. The driver, Nicholas Campbell, 30, of Burlington, N.J., was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested for DUI and faces charges in district court. Trooper Robert Richter investigated the incident. On July 3 at approximately 1:30 a.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a report of harassment. According to police, a 26-year-old female victim from Doylestown said she was approached by a group of men while playing the slots. One male put his arms around her without permission subjecting her to unwanted touching. The men left …

On Monday, April 2, Bensalem police made the following arrests: At 1:25 a.m., William Zemartis, 28, of the 3100 block of Knights Road, was arrested at his residence and charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
