Following his autograph session at Pro Image, Danny Briere scored a couple goals in an important win.
All Danny Briere needed to turn around his season was a visit to Bensalem. The assistant captain brought out dozens of Flyers fans Friday evening as he signed autographs for $30 at the Pro Image store in the Neshaminy Mall. Then Saturday night, he scored two goals in helping the team clinch a playoff berth with a 4-1 win over Montreal. The diminutive Briere, who had 34 goals last season, is having an off year. Saturday's goals were numbers 15 and 16, and fans and teammates are hoping they're a sign of Briere's usual readiness for a clutch playoff performance. Former Flyers goalie and Hall of Famer Bernie Parent joined teammate Bill Clement for the latter's radio show “Bill Clement's Hockey World,” which airs on WBCB radio (1490 AM). Some of the money players make go to charitites for example Make a wish foundation... I have no problem in paying money for an autograph even tho Im just an average Joe working guy. But if your a true dedicated fan acouple bucks wont hurt especially if its going to a charity cause.   more ›
