Now that its first show is old news, Bensalem's Stealin' the Covers is prepping for its next gig at Kenny's Spirited Eatery in Southampton. The first show, which took place in New Hope during the day, wasn't the typical night-time crowd that some of the members were used to, according to singer Donna Davis. However, she said the show still went really well and was a chance for the band to start and find its live performance groove. "It was the first gig I had in six years," Davis said. "So I kinda had to get the cobwebs out." All of the members have prior experience in bands, according to singer and rhythm guitarist Vic Monaco. It's time to get pumped for summer as TD Bank Amphitheater released its 2013 Summer Concert Series. The Wednesday night concerts kick off on June 5 with Radio Nashville for a night of country music. The following weeks will feature many cover and tribute bands, including tributes to Queen, Jimmy Buffet, Bruce Springsteen and more. Additionally, the United States Army Field Band will perform on Sunday, June 30 and the township Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5. Both of these events are free. Unless otherwise noted on the calendar, general admission for concerts is $5 for adults, Seniors ages 65 and older get in for $2.50 and children 12 and younger are free.
