Island Sun Tanning Salon Robber Sought
Bensalem Township police are looking for a man responsible for a robbery at Island Sun Tanning Salon.
Bensalem Police need the public's help identifying a man who allegedly robbed the Island Sun Tanning Salon a week ago. On Friday, Feb. 19 at 10 p.m., a man who was caught on a surveillance video, entered Island Sun Tanning Salon at 5633 Bensalem Blvd. and demanded money from the cash register, according to police. "The suspect implied that he had a handgun but never displayed it," Sgt. Andrew Aninsman said. The man is described as a white male, approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has facial hair. Police said he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an emblem on the left chest, blue jeans, black shoes and black gloves.
