The 10-month-old had been missing since Monday. A family friend has been charged in the murders of the child and her grandmother, who reportedly attacked the would-be kidnapper as he tried to take her granddaughter.
The body of Saanvi Venna, the 10-month-old girl who disappeared from the Marquis Apartments in King of Prussia on Monday following the murder of her grandmother, was found at about 4:30 a.m. Friday in a sauna room inside the apartment complex, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman said. Raghunandan Yandamuri, 26, described by Ferman as a friend of the Venna family, has been charged in the murders of Saanvi and Satyavathi Venna. Police say armed men abducted 2-year-old Tymire Dior Smith from Montgomery County after assaulting his father.

Two-year-old Tymire Dior Smith had been abducted from an Upper Dublin Township home in Montgomery County by three armed men who stole a new, dark-colored Chrysler 300 with a partial Pennsylvania license plate of HYJ68. NBC10 reported that friends of the family said the kidnappers called the family a short time later, demanding ransom money. On Feb. 23, Bensalem police arrested Michael Draves, 31, of the 3200 block of Hulmeville Road, for attempting to kidnap and rape a female neighbor. According to police, At 8:45 a.m., Bensalem police responded to the Crestwood apartment complex and observed the victim with clear packing tape still around her face and head area. She reported that Draves asked for her assistance. When she entered his apartment Draves began forcing her into his bedroom at knife point. When she began to scream Draves wrapped the tape around her mouth and head. She was able to escape from his grasp and negotiate her exit out of the apartment. She then called police for assistance. District Judge Joseph Falcone held Quincy Cannon on multiple charges including robbery, kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment and simple assault related to a home invasion of an 83-year-old Bensalem woman, according to PhillyBurbs.com. On Oct. 29 at 2:15 a.m., Bensalem police were called to a home on Crafton Drive in Nottingham where an elderly woman reported she was sleeping in her bed when a male forced his way into her home, held a knife to the victim and demanded money or he will kill her, police reported at the time. After a 36 hour manhunt, Bensalem and Philadelphia police along with local FBI agents arrested Dennis Pipkin, 28, of the 300 block of Loudon Street, Philadelphia for assault, kidnapping and sexual assault. The victim was his estranged wife. Police said the incident began on Sunday evening when the victim was assaulted by Pipkin and an unknown male as she was getting out of her vehicle to go to work. She was then forced into her vehicle, tied up and taken to motel in Bensalem where she was sexually assaulted. According to police, Pipkin threatened the victim with a stun gun and box cutter.
