Powerball Jackpot Winners in Arizona, Missouri

Two tickets were sold that match the winning numbers for the $580 million jackpot.

The Powerball Lottery drawing was drawn Wednesday night and officials said two tickets match the winning combination. But neither of those tickets were sold in Pennsylvania. The winning tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri.  The winning numbers are: 5, 16, 22, 23 and 29, and the Power Ball is 6. According to USA Today, the Powerball website malfunctioned once the numbers were drawn. The site produced an error message due to the overwhelming amount of traffic. ABC News reported that lottery officials expected to sell more than 105,000 tickets every minute before the drawing. Despite the long odds for the big jackpot, the overall odds of winning a prize are considerably better at 1 in 55.
