The Bensalem Business Association is hosting a breakfast business card exchange at Parx Casino on Thursday, Feb. 28. "The business card exchange will be open to everyone," said Pondeli Hajioannou, the business association's president. Furthermore, he said that he has invited other area business associations to attend the event. The breakfast event will be held on the casino's third floor in the Steak House. The event begins at 8 a.m. and will cost $25. The price includes a breakfast buffet. In addition to mingling with other local business associates for two hours, participants will be able to chat with special guests. Police located the 82-year-old man who was reported missing from Parx Casino on Saturday, Jan. 5. "Mr. Paparella was located and is in good health," Sgt. Andrew Aninsman said in a press release from the Bensalem Police Department. Earlier reports explained that Dominick Paparella who has dementia and hadn't driven a vehicle in more than a year, was last seen Saturday morning operating a 2001 silver Infiniti I30. Paparella returned to the Casino on Saturday evening—after having been last seen at 5 a.m.—exited his vehicle and walked around, but couldn't find his vehicle again, police said. A Delaware man was cited for trespassing at Parx Casino by Pennsylvania State Police, according to a recent report. On Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at 4:35 p.m., state police issued a 52-year-old man with a non-traffic citation for criminal trespass after being previously excluded from the casino.

Between June 11-19, troopers responded to the following incidents. On June 11 at 12:02 a.m., state police investigated a counterfeit bill at Parx Casino. Police said a suspected counterfeit $100 bill was discovered from an attempted exchange at the main cashier cage. Trooper B. Horlacher investigated the incident.
