Bristol Township Police Blotter
Bristol Township police released their latest crime report. Police said a vandal threw eggs at gray Chevy Caprice that was parked at Dolores Lane in Croydon. It happened sometime overnight on Jan. 9. In another act of vandalism, police said the driver's side tail light of a Mitsubishi ECL was smashed sometime between 10 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 10. The vehicle was parked at Ford Road in Bristol. Also, police said five to six new CDs, worth $75, were stolen from a GMC Envoy that was parked at Carnarvon Avenue in Bristol. It was reported happening sometime overnight on Nov. 9.

Bristol Township police reported several crimes including one arrest. Zachary Young, 26, of Bensalem, was arrested on Bath Road in Bristol on a local warrant and sent to Bucks County Prison according to police. It happened Dec. 20 at 12:45 a.m. Police said sometime overnight on Dec. 20, someone broke into a Nissan parked on New Chestnut Street in Bristol. A GPS system and adapter, valued at $129, were stolen. It was reported Dec. 20 at 9:47 a.m. According to police, sometime overnight on Dec. 20, someone broken into a 2004 Chevrolet parked on Ford Road in Bristol and slashed both front tires. Andrea Amaya was charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, according to police.
Bensalem Township Police arrested a woman at her home on Friday morning, after a lengthy child abuse investigation, police said. Andrea Amaya, 24, of 3131 Knights Rd. was arrested at 9:24 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, and was charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, according to a release from the Bensalem Police Department. She had been the target of a lengthy investigation by the police department's Special Victims Unit, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office and Bucks County Children and Youth. The focus of the child abuse investigation was the 3-year-old daughter of Amaya, who was hospitalized at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia on Nov. 3. On Wednesday, Dec. 7, Bensalem police made the following arrest: At 1:32 p.m., David J. Gibson, 45, of the 5100 block of Tulip Street in Philadelphia was arrested on the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard and charged with retail theft. He was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Bristol Township police reported three burglaries, one robbery and one arrest. Bensalem resident 38-year-old Dennis Lawson was arrested, according to police. It happened at Summit Avenue in Croydon at 8:47 p.m. on Nov. 26. Police said Lawson was charged with simple assault and related offenses in connection with assaulting another person. He was arraigned at District Court No. 4 with bail set at $250,000. Lawson was remanded to Bucks County Prison. Police said a 27-year-old woman was walking when a robber pushed her face to the ground, stole her cell phone after it fell out of her pocket and ran off. Middletown Township Police Blotter
Middletown Township police said they made three driving under the influence arrests. Police said 21-year-old Ryan Nicholas Brown, of Bristol, was arrested for DUI. The arrest came as the result of a domestic dispute investigation at Chesterfield Apartments at 1:01 a.m. Friday, according to police. Kelly Kelch, 31, of Yardley, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at Trenton Road near Herbert Hoover School at 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, according to police. A two-car crash led to the arrest of a Bensalem woman. It happened on West Lincoln Highway and Rising Sun Avenue at 5:24 p.m. Sunday Police said 42-year-old Donna Cox was arrested for DUI.

Bensalem Township Police released recent crime information on Thursday, July 28, which included arrests for outstanding warrants, underage drinking and more. Francis Daneil Bigle, 45, of the 1000 block of Ann Street in Croydon was arrested on the 4000 block of Bristol Pike on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County. Bigle was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department. A 54-year-old male was arrested for indecent exposure. Marical Fantauzzi of the 1800 block of Camden, N.J. was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
