3 Citations for Retail Theft Given at Neshaminy Mall, Police Say

Police cited three people with retail theft at Neshaminy Mall on Friday, March 22.

Police made three arrests for retail theft at Neshaminy Mall on Friday, March 22, according to a recent Bensalem Township Police blotter. Just after 12:30 p.m., a 34-year-old woman was arrested and charged with retail theft from Macy's Department store at Neshaminy Mall. The woman, who is from the 1200 block of Fairmont Avenue in Philadelphia will receive a summons. At 7:12 p.m. two people were arrested and charged with retail theft from Hollister store at the mall. A 20-year-old man from Hope Avenue in Southampton was issued a citation. A 17-year-old girl from Philadelphia will be referred to the Youth Aid Panel. Other items on the blotter included arrests for DUI, underage drinking and warrants.

$10K Stolen from Home, Police Say

Nearly $10K was stolen from a home, according to a recent police blotter, which raises the question: How much money is too much to have around the house?

Nearly $10,000 was reported stolen from a Bristol Borough home among other items, according to a recent police blotter. A home on the 800 block of Pine Street in Bristol was burglarized, according to a March 8 police blotter. Someone reportedly stole a 47 inch Vizio TV, a Cannon Rebel camera, and XBox 360 with games, a Playstation with games, an assortment of gold and silver jewelry, a motorcycle jacket, a Bose sound dock, CDs, a Playstation Vita with games, a D2Pad Android, a weed whacker, and a power drill, in addition to $9,400, the report said. Six Thefts Reported from Macy's, Horizon Center

Police charged eight people with retail theft at Macy's Department Store and the Horizon Center between Feb. 1 and 3.

Eight people were arrested and charged with retail theft over the weekend of Friday, Feb. 1 and Sunday, Feb. 3, according to police reports. Bensalem Police Department released a recent blotter that included six incidents of retail theft. Though eight people were arrested and charged, they are to be considered innocent until proved guilty in accordance with existing state and federal law or local ordinances. On Feb. 1 at 1:35 p.m., a 41-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with retail theft on the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard, police said. Police Report Jefferson Avenue Burglary

Bristol Borough Police reported a burglary that took place on Jan. 6, according to a blotter.

A burglary took place on Jefferson Avenue in Bristol Borough, according to a police report. On Jan. 6 around 12 p.m. a $1,350 worth of items were stolen from a home, police said. Golf clubs, an air conditioner, marble sing, toilet and four tire rims, all valued at $1,350, were taken. Police responded to other incidents including a citation for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct on Cedar Street, and a theft from a Ford that was parked on Lincoln Avenue. Woman Arrested for Stealing More than $280,000 from Friend's Estate

Cecilia Sarachilli of Bristol was arrested and charged with forgery, theft and related charges.

Bensalem Police arrested a Bristol lady for stealing more than $280,000 from a friend's estate, according to police. On Friday, Jan. 11, 52-year-old Cecilia Sarachilli of the 600 block of Spring Street in Bristol was arrested by Bensalem Police and charged with forgery, theft and related charges after she allegedly stealing more than $280,000 from an estate of a long time friend, according to police reports. Sarachilli was Power of Attorney and Executrix of the trust when her friend was placed into an assisted living home back in December 2008. The friend passed away in July 2011. When the friend went into the home, Sarachilli started stealing more than $180,000 in cash and took out a $100,000 line of credit from a home the friend owned, …

Bensalem Man Violates Open Burning Ordinance

Bensalem Police Department released a blotter including a citation for violating a township ordinance, retail theft and more.

A Bensalem man was cited for violating a township ordinance, according to a recent police blotter. On Thursday, Jan. 3, a 33-year-old resident of the 1200 block of Kings Lane in Bensalem was charged with a violation of a township ordinance that prohibits open burning. He will receive a citation. In addition to the open burning violation, Bensalem Township Police Department also arrested a 45-year-old New Hope man on an outstanding warrant. The man was arrested on the 3100 block of Knights Road and was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department, the blotter said. An arrest for retail theft was also made on Jan. 3. Counterfeit Money Suspected at Parx

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose Station. It does not imply conviction.

Between Dec. 22-26, state troopers stationed at Parx Casino reported the following incidents: *A suspected counterfeit $100 bill was discovered from an attempted exchange at the cashiers. The investigation is continuing.  *A black Apple iPod 4S, 32 GB fell from the victims pocket while on the gaming floor. A few seconds later, an unidentified male picked up the phone and exited the casino. The suspect was a white male and was wearing a sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black baseball hat. The suspect was seen exiting the casino out of the West entrance/exit with the stolen phone in hand.
