Police Make 16 Monday Arrests

Charges included assault, disorderly conduct, underage drinking, theft, burglary and warrants.

  The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction. On Monday, Jan. 23, Bensalem police made the following arrests: At 3:09 a.m., Shawn Levine Irving, 20, of the 4800 block of Levick Street, Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was released after posting 10 percent of $75,000 bail. At 3:09 a.m., 16-year-old male from Philadelphia was arrested in the 2300 block of Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose and charged with disorderly conduct. He will receive a citation. At 3:09 a.m., Andrea Lynette Cook, 22, of the 3900 block of L Street, Philadelphia was arrested in the 2300 block of Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose and charged with false ID to law enforcement. …

Police Make Six Wednesday Arrests

Charges included underage drinking, warrants, theft and disorderly conduct.

  The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction. On Wednesday, Jan. 18, Bensalem police made the following arrests: At 12:31 a.m., Kyle James Foley, 19 of the 12000 block of Richton Road, Philadelphia, and Derek Richard Ellis, 19, of the 3000 block of Academy Road, Philadelphia, were charged with underage drinking in the 1900 block of Street Road. They will receive a citation.                        At 10:25 a.m., Christopher Cartolaro, 26, of the 6600 block of Timra Circle, was arrested in the 2400 block of Byberry Road on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County. Police Make A Dozen Weekend Arrests

Charges included theft, warrants, DUI, underage drinking, public drunkenness, false ID, simple assault and leaving the scene of an accident.

  The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction. Between Jan. 13-15, Bensalem police made the following arrests: On Jan. 13 at 3:22 p.m., Christine Stotesbury, 46, of the 8200 block of Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 2300 block of Street Road and charged with retail theft. She was issued a citation. On Jan. 13 at 4:24 p.m., Frank Forte, 26, of the 4500 block of Winding Brook Drive, was arrested in the 5400 block of Flushing Road on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County. PennDOT, State Police Team to Make Roads Safer for Halloween

Underage Drivers reminded of stiff penalties for impaired driving.

Impaired drivers, especially those under the legal drinking age, had better beware this Halloween, as PennDOT and the Pennsylvania State Police are teaming to increase law-enforcement patrols throughout the week. “Many drivers under 21 don’t realize that different rules and penalties apply to them if they are caught drinking and driving,” said PennDOT Secretary Barry J. Schoch. “Putting people’s lives in danger by getting behind the wheel while impaired is senseless and can result in tragedy. It’s just not worth the cost.” The legal blood-alcohol content in Pennsylvania is 0.08 for motorists over the age of 21. For underage drivers, the BAC limit is 0.02 percent. Penalties for a conviction can include jail time, license suspension and …

Troopers Respond to Drug Incidents, Warrants, DUI, Underage Drinking, Casino Thefts

The following information was provided by State Police at the Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between July 22-25, state police from the Trevose station responded to the following incidents: On July 22 at 12:36 p.m., police stopped a vehicle driven by Christopher R. Geier, 21, of Elizabethville, on westbound Woodhaven Road in Bensalem for a traffic violation. Geier was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. He faces possession charges in district court. Trooper Carrie Gula investigated the incident. On July 22 at 5:20 p.m., Sarah J. Francht, 29, went to the state police Trevose station to update her Megan’s Law registration and was found to be wanted in Philadelphia for a probation violation. Harak, 43, of the 6100 block of Garrett Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct at his residence. He will receive a citation. Charges included forgery, theft, identity theft, aggravated assault, weapons, terroristic threats, harassment, public drunkenness, underage drinking and receiving stolen property.

Between June 24 and June 26, Bensalem police made the following arrests: On June 24 at 12:19 p.m., Keith Byrd, 39, of the 2300 block of Fernon Street, Philadelphia was arrested in the 1900 block of Byberry Road and charged with forgery, receiving stolen property, theft by deception and identity theft. He was released on $75,000 unsecured bail. On June 24 at 1:15 p.m., Mario A. Digidio, 47, of the 1300 block of Park Avenue, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was issued a citation. On Monday, June 13, Bensalem police made the following arrests: At 12:31 a.m., Eric Treadwell, 41, of the 1400 block of Huntingdon Road, Abington, was arrested in the 1300 block of Bristol Pike on an outstanding warrant out of Philadelphia. He was turned over to Philadelphia Police Warrant Unit. At 12:45 p.m., Robert W. Kolker, 42, of the 1300 block of Gibson Road, Bensalem, was arrested in the 1400 block of Gibson Road on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County. He was turned over to Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.
