DUI, Vehicular Homicide Charges Lodged in Death of Bensalem Man

The 23-year-old suspect turned himself in at court on Tuesday in Falls Township.

  A 23-year-old Falls Township man was arraigned on charges he drove intoxicated into a tree at the corner of Makefield Road and Woolstone Drive in the township during a January 2012 car crash that claimed the life of his friend. Clad in a striped button up work shirt, durable work pants and black shoes Jerel Wade appeared before District Justice Jan Vislosky Tuesday afternoon on charges of homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, driving under the influence, reckless driving and several other charges. Police Charge Truck Driver in Fatal Street Road Crash

Connecticut man arrested on charges of homicide by vehicle.

A Connecticut truck driver is under arrest for vehicular homicide related to a fatal crash that occurred in Trevose on April 21. According to a release, Andrew Ziemba, 32, of Meriden, CT, turned surrendered Friday to Bensalem police on charges of homicide by vehicle and related offenses. He was arraigned by Judge Joseph Falcone and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $200,000, 10 percent bail. On April 21 at approximately 1:35 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Street Road and Old Lincoln Highway for a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer.  Investigation determined that a truck, operated by Ziemba, struck another vehicle operated by Danielle Felkner and a female passenger.
