Bensalem Police Make 17 Arrests in Warrant Sweep

In the second phase of a warrant sweep, Bensalem Township Police Department made 17 arrests

Seventeen people were arrested Friday morning as part of a warrant sweep, according to Bensalem Township Police. Local police and Pennsylvania State Constables conducted an early morning sweep of people wanted from Bensalem, according to Sgt. Andrew Aninsman of the Bensalem Police Department. "In this second phase of warrant arrests Police are actively searching for those people who commit crimes and continue to avoid the criminal justice system," a release from the police department said. During this phase, police were searching for 44 people wanted for crimes such as burglary, forgery, distributing narcotics, aggravated assault, thefts and DUI. Of the 44 people, 17 were arrested. All 17 people were arraigned by Magisterial Judge Brown. …

Bensalem Police Arrest 2 Philadelphia Men on Warrants

Bensalem Township Police arrested two men on outstanding warrants.

Two men were arrested on outstanding warrants out of Philadelphia, according to a recent police blotter from the Bensalem Township Police Department. On Jan. 2 just before 9 a.m., Patric Suarez, 28, of the 1800 block of E. Albert St. in Philadelphia was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Suarez was arrested on the 2200 block of Lincoln Highway in Trevose and was turned over to the Philadelphia Police Warrant Unit. At 11:05 p.m. on Jan. 2, Luis Reyes, 48, of the 500 block of Geneva Ave. in Philadelphia was arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was arrested at Bristol Pike and Bensalem Boulevard was turned over to the Philadelphia Police Warrant Unit.
