Police Arrest 9 on Thursday

Bensalem police released recent blotter information on Friday, July 29.

The Bensalem Township Police Department released crime information for Thursday, July 28. Crimes reported include arrests for outstanding warrants, retail theft, disorderly conduct, underage drinking and a DUI. Aisha S. Johnson was arrested and charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident involving injury or property damage, reckless endangering another person, driving at an unsafe speed, reckless driving, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, no registration, no insurance and limitation on backing. The 32-year-old Philadelphia resident was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail after being arrested at the …

Police Make 5 Arrests on Wednesday

Bensalem Township Police released recent crime information.

Bensalem Township Police released recent crime information on Thursday, July 28, which included arrests for outstanding warrants, underage drinking and more. Francis Daneil Bigle, 45, of the 1000 block of Ann Street in Croydon was arrested on the 4000 block of Bristol Pike on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County. Bigle was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department. A 54-year-old male was arrested for indecent exposure. Marical Fantauzzi of the 1800 block of Camden, N.J. was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. Eighteen-year-old Tuyen Christina Hoang was arrested at the 2300 block of Street Road in Bensalem and charged with retail theft. …

Bensalem Police Arrest 4 on Tuesday

Bensalem Township Police released recent blotter information.

Bensalem Township Police released recent crime information on Wednesday, July 27, which included arrests for theft, outstanding warrants and disorderly conduct. Marybeth Henderson Athey, 28, of the 1800 block of West Garden Road in Vineland, N.J. was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Bensalem. She also had an outstanding warrant out of Philadelphia. Athey was arrested on the 2400 block of Byberry Road and was sent to Bucks County Prison. A 22-year-old female from Trevose was arrested on an outstanding Pa. state warrant. Brittany Jones was turned over to the state police after being arrested on the 2400 block of Byberry Road. Bensalem Travel Agency to Return Checks

Detectives believe that the situation with Aloha Travel Agency is not a criminal matter.

Updated, July 28: 10:20 a.m.: The local travel agency that was under investigation for a possible fraud has been cleared by Bensalem detectives. After interviewing the owner of Aloha Travel Agency about customer payments not going towards the booking of their vacation, the detectives said they did not believe the situation to be a criminal matter. The owner has made the proper arrangements to reimburse all customers who filed complaints with the Bensalem Township Police Department. "The owner was very cooperative," Sgt. Andrew Aninsman said in a press release. "Most of the checks for reimbursement were mailed today." Those who filed complaints were told to contact the police if their reimbursements were not received by early next week. …

Police Make 11 Arrests Over Weekend

Bensalem Township Police Department released recent crime information.

Bensalem Township Police Department released recent crime information on Monday, June 25, which included 11 arrests. Sunday, July 24: Michael Francis Mason, 39, of the 3400 block of Joyce Street in Philadelphia was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Falls Township. He was arrested on the 2900 block of Lincoln Highway in Trevose, and was turned over to Falls Township Police. Sunday, July 24: Andrew Coles, Jr., 51, of the 2300 block of Linconia Avenue in Trevose was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County.
