County Publishes Veterans ID Directory
More than 350 businesses in and around Bucks County have offered discounts to veterans carrying the card.
Since its introduction in November 2011, more than 6,000 veterans have signed up to the Bucks County ID Card Program, earning discounts at a wide range of local businesses, from car dealerships and restaurants to banks and specialty stores. This week, the Bucks County Veteran ID Card Discount Program has published and mailed its first directory, detailing the more than 350 businesses that are participating in the program as of Nov. 20, 2012. Veterans can sign up and receive the discount card by bringing their original DD-214 discharge papers to the office of the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds on the second floor of the Bucks County Courthouse, which will be digitally preserved in the county records.
