Enjoy a night out and do something worthwhile, too.
Welcome back to Great Escape, where each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier - maybe a whole lot easier. This week, an item on the calendar of our friends at Bucks Happening gave us the urge to kill two birds with one stone - a night out and helping local charities. That's possible at The Brick Hotel's "Cocktails for A Cause" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. There will be $4 specialty cocktails, half-price appetizers and a raffle for a night's stay at the hotel or a $100 gift certificate. The Brick will donate a portion of the proceeds from "Cocktails For A Cause" to local charities. Sounds like a fun way to help local charities.

Join the hunt for paranormal activity.
Welcome back to Great Escape, where each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier - maybe a whole lot easier. This week, our friends at Bucks Happening pointed us toward what's being described as a hunt for paranormal activity. It's happening at Graeme Park in Horsham Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight. According to BucksHappening, the event is $40 per person "which will include a tour of the house, paranormal investigation of the house and grounds using various high-tech equipment, a discussion of the findings of previous investigations and light refreshments.
