Man Threatens School Staffer, Police Say

A 35-year-old man was arrested following an incident at Warren Snyder-John Girotti Elementary School where he allegedly threatened to 'blow' a school employee away.

A 35-year-old man was arrested for an incident at Warren Snyder-John Girotti Elementary School and must stay 100 yards away from Bristol Borough School grounds, police said. Edwin Landman, of Garfield Street in Bristol, went to the elementary school Tuesday to pick up his daughter, police said. The father became very angry when a school employee asked to see his identification before he could enter the building, according to a police criminal complaint. "What the [expletive] for?" courts documents quote Landman as saying to the school employee. Landman eventually produced identification and was let into the school, according to court documents. Police Charge Four with Assault, Related Offenses

Bensalem police arrested four individuals on various charges including aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, trespassing, criminal mischief, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, underage drinking and retail theft.

Between Nov. 9-10, Bensalem police made the following arrests: On Nov. 9 at 12:03 a.m., a 21-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested in the 2500 block of Grove Lane and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, simple assault, resisting arrest, defiant trespass and criminal mischief. He was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail. Police Make 15 Weekend Arrests

Charges included forgery, theft, identity theft, aggravated assault, weapons, terroristic threats, harassment, public drunkenness, underage drinking and receiving stolen property.

Between June 24 and June 26, Bensalem police made the following arrests: On June 24 at 12:19 p.m., Keith Byrd, 39, of the 2300 block of Fernon Street, Philadelphia was arrested in the 1900 block of Byberry Road and charged with forgery, receiving stolen property, theft by deception and identity theft. He was released on $75,000 unsecured bail. On June 24 at 1:15 p.m., Mario A. Digidio, 47, of the 1300 block of Park Avenue, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was issued a citation. On June 24 at 1:34 p.m., Lacey Finney, 20, of the 300 block of Appletree Drive, Levittown, was arrested in the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard and charged with retail theft.
