Sandy, what exactly are you so afraid of? What turns you off with a day like this? Being gay is hard enough, finally people get to stand up for who they are and people like you will continue to push them back down. Nobody is telling you to understand or love someone that is gay, you can believe whatever you want, it's ok, but to put down a day like this, why???

Really people do you read yourselves?
This is exactly why bullying is a topic. Does anyone know that bullying today is a hell of lot worse than it was when you were all kids? Did you have facebook, texts, e-mail, etc? No you did not, you were bullied and you went home, you did not have to think or see that person until the next day. Kids today are bullying 24 hours a day. So unless you all just turned 9, nobody on here has any idea what today's kid face. And for all of you saying this will not help anything, really are you that awesome you know the future, if it makes one person go against the ignorance they are taught at home then it helps! Children are taught by example, and from what I read on here a lot of you are NOT good examples! -

ReplyWow, I guess you guys didn't know there is a difference between a homosexual and a child molester. You should be more worried about taking your kids to church. People who are open about their sexual orientation don't have to be shamed and hidden, which in turn makes them better people.It's the people who are not honest about their sexual orientation that you should be worried about!!!
and this comment is just sad...... "I'd be concerned that my kids would be fed some garbage that being a homosexual is OK". And we wonder why our children get bullied? -

ReplyIf you are so worried about your personal information being thrown around, you should really look into what you do everyday. Log in your computer, swipe your credit card,make a phone call. I think your mental health record is the least of your worries, unless of course you have a record, then you should be worried about buying your next gun. I think this is FANTASTIC!!!

Call me whatever political name you want, I know in my life I don't cry about MY injustices, I don't believe what the media tells me to, I live through others lives to gain compassion. Same with guns my friend. I personally hate guns, i'm not going to tell you can't have them to protect yourself , but your crazy if you don't agree with trying to make sure they get in the right hands, however that will happen, we need to try and start somewhere. So, I respect my friends who are pro life, I respect the responsible gun owners. I don't respect people who claim their rights trump everyone else, you could try to put yourself in other peoples positions before you scream about your freedoms.
And for the record, guns will never be taken away from our society, and anyone on here who actually believes that is what our president will do is living in a dream world, it's the most impossible thing that could ever be done in our life time, so please stop worrying, and worrying everyone else. Our counrty is in dire straights because of people like you!

Who does it hurt to have background checks, whether or not it will stop the next mass shooting or the fact criminals get their guns off the street. What is the harm in trying?????? If every state had the same gun laws wouldn't that make a difference to? If you live in a state with strict gun laws and can drive 20 minutes out of state and purchase a gun in a state with lesser laws, doesn't that factor in on all your statistics?
So let me ask again, who does this hurt? Straight answer PLEASE!
