Philly Man Left Toddler in Car to Play Blackjack, Police Say

According to Bensalem police, an 18-month-old boy had been left alone inside a car while his father gambled at Parx Casino.

A Philadelphia man faces child endangerment charges after Bensalem police say he left his 18-month-old son in a hot car on July 6 while he played blackjack at Parx Casino, according to a report from CBS Philly.

According to the article, Bensalem police responded to the Parx Casino parking lot Saturday night and found the child alone, sweating inside a Lexus. Surveillance footage shows that the father, Danny Ngo, 44, was inside the casino gambling for 40 minutes, the article says.

Ngo has been charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. His bail has been set at $100,000.
