Valley AA Dominates Pennsbury, 11-1, for State Title

The Vikings will travel to upstate New York next week to compete in the regional tournament.

The Valley AA 10 & under travel baseball team cruised to an 11-1 victory over Pennsbury Wednesday night and earned the state championship title in the Little League Cal Ripken division.

Officials invoked the 10 run rule and ended the game after five innings. The Vikings now move on to the regionals tournament in Cohoes, N.Y., located north of Albany. The team is scheduled to play two games on July 25, then one game each on the following Friday and Saturday.

The tournament playoffs end on Monday, July 29, with the winner earning the chance to travel to Ocala, Fla., and compete in the Little League World Series on August 10.
